Lee Juggurnauth catches up with Doreen and Tommy to see how having a bolthole in the Costa Almería sunshine is helping Tommy's recovery from a serious accident. With its 130 miles of beautiful coastline, lively beach resorts and pretty whitewashed towns, the Costa Almería was the perfect place for Doreen and Tommy to embark on their new lives. When they met Scarlette Douglas back in 2017, the couple had different opinions on what they wanted for their £55k budget. Tommy was set on a cave house, while Doreen wanted an apartment. When their first option - a cave house - blew them away, Scarlette thought she had a rock-solid contender. But an apartment with roof terrace and sea views stole both their hearts.
