Jimmy's initial shrugging of sneers not to pick up Hope whenever she cries turns after his parents explain the theory his sissy shyness stems from a youth of blindly trusting in parental rescue from every danger. Now Burt must give Hope 'sleep training', for which the handbook may not suffice. Jimmy, who couldn't bring himself to be so cruel, meanwhile is dragged along by his depraved ex Zoe to a party where he consumes a space drink, which ends up inducing utter panic, but his parents stick to their recent resolve not to kill their offspring with kindness any more.
