Laura's son, Matthew, and his friends are on their annual tennis holiday at a beautiful tennis camp owned by former champion Ray Parfitt in southern Spain where Laura and Rosemary are creating a trophy garden for his Pro-Am tennis tournament.When one of the players is found dead after a night out everyone assumes it was a drunken accident but the girls suspect foul play.In the neighbouring village of Mijas, Rosemary rediscovers the thrill of riding motor scooters, while Laura finds the local bullring a mysterious and threatening place.
