He is also at odds with Alison over Rebecca's decision to work with Alison's ex, Stuart, selling cars, rather than go to university. Meanwhile Eddie, dumped by Holly and getting closer to Nicola, offers advice to Maurice, who feels that Louise is rejecting him.
