Welcome to the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson Episode GuideCraig: (as the show begins) "Look at you, come on in. Welcome to Los Angeles, California, welcome to the Late Late Show, I'm your host, TV's Craig Ferguson."
...and so begins every episode of Late night TV's most original series. Starring the "Scottish Conan Guy" as he's dubbed himself over the past five years. It's always a "great day for America" when you spend an hour with Craig and his zany sense of humor on the The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
Debuting on January 23rd, 2005 (as the replacement for Craig Kilborn) Ferguson quickly established himself as a talented story teller with his unique style of monologue. A style that usually features one general topic (say Vienna, Austria) but can drift into a variety of wacky directions as Craig weaves his comical tale. Thrown in, for good measure, are the verbal barbs at a few usual suspects such as Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and Lindsay Lohan.
Craig's talent as an actor and improv comic slowly transformed the series into a sideshow of sketches as Craig donned one goofy persona after another, from a buck toothed Prince Charles (host of the Rather Late Program) to a bumbling, forgetful and clueless Larry King. More recently he's turned his comic eye to the likes of Sean Connery and Aquaman.
The Late Late Show airs Monday-Friday at 12:35am EST on CBS.Theme song:It's hard to stay up
It's been a long, long day
And you got the Sandman at the door
But hang on, leave the TV on
And let's do it anyway
It's okay
You could always sleep through work tomorrow, okay?
Hey hey
Tomorrow's just your future yesterday...Listen to the Theme Song here. (At bottom right of page).
