Travel Man: 48 Hours in... - Season 6 Episode 1 -

Tonight the Travel Man is joined by Matt Lucas, for a frenetic 48 hours in the eternal city, Rome. After dropping their bags at the ultra-hip G-Rough Hotel, they seek protection from the scorching Italian sun. They find it at the Antica Manifattura Cappelli, Rome's oldest hat shop, which makes and sells a dizzying variety of bespoke headgear. In order to see some sights in the most time efficient and Italian way possible, they take a guided tour in vintage Fiat 500 cars. After wending their way past the Circus Maximus, they stop to peep through the Aventine Keyhole before finishing atop Gianicolo Hill in time for the cannon being fired - a daily ritual since the 1850s. Next they head to the border of the Vatican, before experiencing the very best of modern Italian cuisine at All'Oro.
