Tirso returns home after having proven his innocence and discovers that his entire family knows the truth about his illness. They try to convince him to go under the knife immediately, but Tirso refuses. First he must finish off Romero. René and Amanda discover that the people who hired René are the same people who have hired Romero, and they will hatch a plot to arrest the former commissioner.
