The discovery of María Pedraza's body in Saavedra's house causes great commotion. Fausto feels increasingly intimidated, and both his paranoia and his violence increase proportionally. Although Juan wants to clarify the matter, Sosa and Saavedra prevent justice from getting involved in the matter and follow their own line of suspicion. Clara savors her victory and takes advantage of the situation to provoke Fausto and make him believe that he could lose her, which causes him to reveal part of his story. However, she also has to deal with the distance that Juan imposes on her, since he gets closer to Milagros again to accompany her during the difficult time she is going through. The news of María's death spreads quickly and Walter finishes tying up all the loose ends.
